Decadent Chocolate Chip Cookies

These ooey, gooey, decadent chocolate chip cookies are so fast and easy to make they’ll have that sweet craving satisfied in no time.

 Seriously though if you like chocolate, or cookies, or sweets in general, these cookies are for you!  They come out perfect with all purpose wheat flour or with my all purpose gluten free flour blend.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. Using a paddle attachment on an electric mixer beat butter, cane and brown sugar until soft and fluffy.
  3. Reduce speed to low, add vanilla and egg. Beat until well incorporated.
  4. Add flour, salt and baking soda, beating until soft.
  5. Grate Hershey bar into cookie dough. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto cookie sheet, placing about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the bottoms are golden but cookies are still soft.
  8. Cool and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

Little tip:  If using the GF flour blend cut the sugar by 1/4 cup as the GF flours tend to be on the sweet side.
